NEWCOGN is a decision-support service operated by BYCOGN LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. We can be reached at NEWCOGN@bycogn.com for any questions relating to this Privacy Policy or the handling of your personal data.
When you use NEWCOGN, we may collect the following categories of information:
Account information. If you register, we collect your email address and a securely encrypted password. We do not store your password in readable form.
Reading records. When you submit a consultation, we store the structural data of your Field Map, the situation description you provide, the AI-assisted reading, and the date and time of the session. This record is associated with your account if you are registered, or held temporarily if you are not.
Payment information. When you make a purchase, payment is processed by Stripe. We store your order reference, transaction amount, and timestamp. We do not store your card number, bank details, or any other sensitive payment credentials — these are held solely by Stripe.
Technical information. Our hosting and database infrastructure may collect standard technical data such as IP addresses and browser type as part of normal system operation. We do not use this data to identify or profile individual users.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide and operate the NEWCOGN service, including generating and delivering your reading.
To process payments and manage your credit balance.
To send you essential system communications, including account confirmation and password reset emails. We do not send marketing emails.
To review and process refund requests where applicable.
To maintain and improve the reliability and quality of the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Your account and reading data is stored on Supabase infrastructure located in the United States. Reading records are retained for a period of ten years, subject to NEWCOGN remaining in operation. Where NEWCOGN ceases to operate, data will be deleted or anonymised in a manner consistent with applicable law.
Payment records are retained by Stripe in accordance with their own data retention policies and applicable financial regulations.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
We work with a small number of third-party service providers in order to operate NEWCOGN. Each provider is engaged for a specific and limited purpose:
Supabase provides our database and authentication infrastructure. User account data and reading records are stored on Supabase servers located in the United States.
Stripe handles all payment processing. Card and banking information is held by Stripe and is not accessible to us. Stripe operates under its own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations.
Resend is used to deliver system emails such as account confirmation and password reset messages. Resend retains delivery logs in accordance with its own data retention policy.
Microsoft Azure provides the infrastructure through which AI-assisted readings are generated. The content of your reading is processed via Microsoft Azure infrastructure. In accordance with Microsoft Azure's applicable policies, data processed through this service is not used to train or develop any AI model.
Vercel hosts the NEWCOGN website and application. Standard hosting logs may be retained by Vercel in accordance with its own policies.
We do not authorise any of these providers to use your personal data for their own purposes beyond what is necessary to perform the services they provide to us.
If you are located in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection legislation, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.
Request that we restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

By using NEWCOGN, you confirm that you meet the minimum age required by the laws of your country or region to use online services of this nature. NEWCOGN is intended for users aged 18 and above.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will endeavour to notify registered users by email in a timely manner. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of NEWCOGN following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
